Good idea, but I doubt that Coach Hooks would want to build a collegiate program at his age.  Coach Hooks was an assistant at Lamar before he went to WOS as defensive coordinator.  Good choice, bad timing for Lamar today.

Trust me guys, the next head coach at Lamar will not be a high school coach. There will probably be a couple of high school coaches to be hired as assistants, but the next head will be a former or current college head or assistant coach.

That would be a neat deal, maybe they can pull Wade Phillips away from the Cowboys, since Garrett is going to take over the Boys anyway.
