purpleeagle Posted February 5, 2024 Report Posted February 5, 2024 The problem with Hemphill seems to be a major exit in high school enrollment. Snapshot number went from 273 down to 221. A drop of 52 kids. Hemphill lost their JV team in the middle of the year, had to combine with varsity. Even going to class 2A1 you need a JV program. Hopefully they have a large 8 th grade moving up. Would like to know the reason for the big drop in high school. Hemphill is a good place to live and the school has money. Hemphill just lost a good coach. Wishing my neighbor to the north the best.
