Meaningless Bowl Thread

My plays for tonight (placed these wagers a couple weeks ago):

West Virginia -6.5

Louisville -7.5

Okie Lite +2.5 

I’m a steady 5-5 so far this bowl season.

Ags need to build on that 11th rated recruiting class in the SEC with a win tonight.   It was still good enough for 21st overall according to ESPN, while Tech signed the #1 recruiting class in the new Big 12 and was right behind A&M at 22.  Maybe aggy should run back to Big 12.  With Texas and OU gone, they might not be nearly as mediocre this time around?

2nd best team in the Big 12 beats the Ags scout team by a TD.  Our 4th string QB didn’t look bad with 361 yards passing.

That’s what I’m saying.  Prime territory for one of the most historically mid programs in CFB.  Just give it some thought before you poo poo it.,,,

Scout team? The dline still had 2 5 stars and 2 4 stars starting for them… Aggs had more 5 stars starting than ok lite…

6 starters played.  2 walk ons and 5 true freshman played on defense.  The 12th man started at safety and was probably their best defensive player last night.  4th string true freshman QB looked pretty solid.  Yes it was the scout team and some below that.

To be fair, their others starters suck so bad it’s hard to distinguish between them and the “scout team.”

My guess is it’s mostly because OU will be starting a true freshman qb since Gabriel hit the portal.

He’s going to be good, but I was told on this thread that starting a true freshman 4th stringer is no excuse.

If it takes the sting out then fine. I’ll remember to do roster comparisons for all future games for my teams.
