Coach 01 Posted January 6 Report Posted January 6 It didn’t feel like they had a ton of opportunities. They are really working to get the ball up the floor. Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted January 6 Author Report Posted January 6 Some halftime stats FT Kountze. 3/4 EC. 3/4 3 point Kountze. 2/8 EC. 2/11 Rebounds Kountze. 12 EC. 20 Turnovers Kountze. 10 EC. 15 Fouls Kountze. 6 EC. 7 mragc2007 1 Quote
TrojanWarrior08 Posted January 6 Report Posted January 6 Just looking at the last 3 minutes of this one (I'm assuming that them) but Kountze bench players are pretty good too. Quote

Hitchcock is definitely the most talented team in the region but Kountze is good enough to have a “puncher’s chance” imo. TrojanMoJo, BADSANTA and BBfan061 3 Quote
BBfan061 Posted January 6 Report Posted January 6 I knew East Chambers wouldn’t be as good as last year but Didn’t think they would lose by 49 at home to Kountze. Also what a different team for Kountze this year… What’s crazy is that in this blowout is Sells only had 9 points. Total team win. TrojanMoJo 1 Quote
AggiesAreWe Posted January 6 Author Report Posted January 6 East Chambers had 37 turnovers in this game. 22 in 2nd half. They had 16 more turnovers than they had points (6) in the 2nd half. Kountze out scored EC 41-6 in 2nd half. Defensively, Kountze put on a clinic. Causing turnovers left and right and doing a great job of closing out on EC's shooters. Never really giving any open looks, particularly in 2nd half. Kountze also rebounded better in 2nd half after getting out rebounded in 1st half 20-12. Rebounding total ended 34-33 for EC. Kountze ended up 5/21 from three. EC 2/14 BBfan061 1 Quote

Offensively the points were spread, but as AAW provided, Kountze struggled shooting. As far as playoff runs, Kountze can make a run if the dominoes fall right. In my opinion their best run will be next year. Essentially bringing all their minutes back next year. Quote

The freshman center/ or post player Cordell Lowe brings a good defensive presence down low mfd814 1 Quote
