Something needs to happen because thread is going nowhere fast.  Let me just say one thing.  If you bring in the right AD/Coach the athletes will follow.  Then the fans.

agreed.  he's turned things around nicely at HF, and fielded consistently solid teams the last few years.  He also comes with two sons who coach, not sure if they'd be a part of the package or not, but wouldn't surprise me.  I'd hate to lose him, but at the rate he's applying for other jobs I'm sure he'll get picked up by somebody soon.

I would like to applaud Nederland's Administration/school board for apparently paying attention to this forum:  After "7 years" and no State Title -- the head football coach was relieved of his duties.  Slowly but surely people are beginning to see the light!
