Jasperfan Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 The word is that it was holding ducks, but supposedly the duck weed is dying and the ducks are leaving. Don't know for sure, but that's just what I heard.
HJ-HECKLER Posted November 29, 2007 Author Report Posted November 29, 2007 well its good to hear that they flooded it again and that the duck weed is dieing i forgot all about them pumping the water out
Wildfire Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 yeah but if you want cats or go get some gar hit the spill way its a looooong long walk down that hot levy wall but its worth it and also go down the wall when you get ther sit rite by the gates and you will catch perch all day long
BWCoach Posted December 3, 2007 Report Posted December 3, 2007 The duck hunting on dam B has been hit or miss. As of two weeks ago, there was heavy hunting pressure on both sides, scattering the few ducks there. Hoping for better numbers, but doubting that it will happen. Lots of rain in the Mid West and lack of cold will hold the birds right where they are. Some Arkansas hunting lodges are suffering also. That tells you how far north the ducks actually are.
