Lamar lost again to UNO 76-65

UNO star, Bo McCaleb had 22 pts but the Cardinals did not have enough offense to win. I heard D-Hop went scoreless tonight. Lamar will have a hard time winning if a preseason all conference player can't score.

Dhop went 0 for 8.  Todd and Barrow were 2 for 9 combined.  Nabors had a double-double: 12 points and 14 rebounds.  Dawkins had 18 points, Nwevo had 14.  Lamar was about even with UNO in TOs, rebounds and fouls, they just terrible from the field (38%) and lost.

Ashton Hall did play 20 minutes and score a few points so he must be feeling a lot better.

I said this last year, and I'll say it again. I'm just not that impressed with Coach Roc's game coaching ability. His x's and o's are just not that good. He may be one great recruiter and a good practice coach, but his in game decision making really lacks.

I gave him a pass last year being it his first year as a head and also not having the right personel, no pg. But this team on paper is more talented than last year's and he can't seem to get them in the right spots. It's still early, but the first scene of this 3 act play stinks.

Let's hope there is a happy ending.

Me too, it's early but something is wrong with this team and I can't put my finger on it. It could be coaching, but not being a coach I'm staying out of that hot seat.
