Lufkin did find a Week 3 games against Little Rock Southwest Fri 9/13 in Texarkana..

 

2024 game will be played under UIL rules, 2025 the game will be played under Federation rules

Southwest was 2-7 a year ago, enrollment just over 2,000

You ain’t kidding BH starts the year with a scrimmage of 6 A Shadow Creek then opens the season playing three 6A schools consecutively before finishing out with 5A Foster! Then open district with Lufkin on the road 😳. If BH can stay healthy through that stint we will definitely be battle tested.

Ball had Angleton beat last year, I think they will be firmly in the mix. It’s a solid district, even the teams picked 5-7 aren’t bad. Especially when compared to other districts.

Its a tough test but not unprecedented. BH had Montgomery and Mag West the past two years, but the two before that it was PAM and Katy Paetow, and BH was smaller than both then. Paetow was "5A" but had something like 3000 enrollment. This year I think BH goes 2-2 in predistrict, but 1-3 would not surprise me. I don't stress, we will start district 0-0.

Exactly. 

And as far as 1st round goes I too think 9 will sweep 10, I think 12 will go 3-1 versus 11 (1seed from 11 gets a dub). Pflugerville Weiss is my wildcard for the region.

I think BH has a down year, tough schedule and losing a ton of experience.

Very possible. BH has a good offense group returning minus the QB, so it all depends on how fast the QB can get up to speed. He will have a good O-line, receivers and RB to work with. On Defense I think the line will be solid, but the LB’s and DB’s will have to grow fast. Injuries will be huge this year as I think depth will be a concern.

If anyone hasn't noticed Tank King (MHS LB) recruitment has blown up. Just picked up a Michigan offer this afternoon after a visit to Tennessee over the weekend.

It's kinda crazy but 'returning talent'-wise Beaumont ISD (to include BU) could ruin someone's season this year (in district play) 😂 I'm not kidding either.
