As of this week (week-7) I think the Regional Final would likely be Pflugerville Weiss vs AMC.

I’m waiting to see what Angleton really has. As of right now, I don’t see them as playing a winning team at the time until La Porte in the next to last district game.

Calpreps—as of now—has that game as 27-26 Angleton on neutral field in regular season at 53%, and 27-26 La Porte on neutral field in PO’s at 53%. Basically, they don’t seem to think much about Angleton’s opponents so far compared to LP’s schedule strength.

I totally disagree with Weiss. They have not played but one good team, AMC and lost. The have beat up on three 0-6 or 0-7 teams, and a couple ,500 teams.

I don't have a guess who would be there, but it won't be Weiss.  they play a 2-4 Lockhart this week before playing CS, who I think will beat them like AMC did.

25-19 I watched the game. And that's as of week 7,  it'll definitely change since they have CS, I wouldn't be surprised if they beat CS after watching CS vs AMC 🤷🏾‍♂️

Your not wrong. They do what your suppose to do to bad teams, and they like to run up scores on those same bad teams when it's unnecessary.  I've watched video too, and the AMC game which was a home game for Weiss.  A game Weiss actually went up against a good defense for the only time this year. I would put the present healthy Lufkin's D against either one of those teams without a problem.

Id put our defense up against anyone in 5A. Outside of 4-5 plays against Tyler they have absolutely dominated this year including holding Longview to 7. Longview dropped more points on SOC then both Duncanville and NS. Longview also dropped a 40 burger on Forney.

I'm gonna throw some scores out and we can do some Aggy math just to get an idea.

Longview 41 Forney 14

Consolidated 35 Forney 34

Consolidated 25 Weiss 19

Consolidated 34 C Stat 20

Longview 7 Lufkin 3

Also taking into consideration we beat AMC the last 2 years and we're significantly better now. I'm starting to think we might be the favorite 😎.

I don't see anyone going undefeated in district play this season. I think if healthy we go at best 9-1, at worst 8-2, maybe 7-3, have to see how that Dekaney game goes. 

I was wrong about this one this season. LP has a chance for an undefeated district season currently. Pretty sure we'll get 7-3, I did not expect the Ball High game to go the way it did. 🤷🏾‍♂️ Fun to look back on these type of threads. 😎

If this week goes as expected, Lufkin vs Ball will be the district game of this year.

Either way, this district should be able to beat anyone in district 10 IMO

Ball clinches a playoff berth and home field in the first round with a win.

Lufkin can clinch a share of the DC and home field in the first round with a win.
