Stros 9-4 3 straight series.  Tucker number 14 and 15 33 RBIs

Altuve with a first pitch HR. Tried to let them comeback, but Tucker was having none of that. 4 back again. We’re not in bad shape at all.

Could have picked up a game yesterday, but it didn’t happen…..that’s baseball. Playing Seattle next is where we make a move….control our destiny instead of rooting for another team to beat the division leader.

Tucker’s 18th HR puts him in 1st and it’s the fastest to 18 in a season for any Astro.

The Astros are done.

Urquidy will have surgery and will not come back.

Javier will have Tommy John and he will miss remainder of season.

Only legit starting pitchers the Stros have is Verlander and Valdez. The other three in rotation is Blanco, Brown and Arighetti.

Season is over.

This is my best spidersal

and Arighetti just took a line drive off his knee. smh

All that you have said is true, but I’m enjoying this St Louis game. We could get Garcia back in the 2nd half. I’ve given up on McCullers……been injured since 2018.

Pressly and Hader need to pick it up.  They are getting paid pretty dang good.  Both gave up 2 runs yesterday to the Angels.  A team with a worse record than them.

In 23 save opportunities this season, Astros have only converted 12. 11 blown saves, worst in MLB.

Houston converts just half of those they are above .500 and 70% puts then battling Seattle for 1st.

Make that now 12 blown saves in 24 opportunities.

Only the Marlins and White Sox are worse in that category. Two teams that just happen to have the worst records in MLB at the current time.

Convert half of those and the Astros are 36-31 and not 30-37. 1 1/2 back of Seattle and not 7 1/2 back.

Astros are terrible @ 1 run games. Seattle is one of the best. Seattle has a great pitching staff. Astros need to go on a win streak…. Sweep a couple series. Need to do much better head-to-head with Seattle. Sucked the last time.

You have to have good pitching to win in the majors and Houston has very few good ones

I don’t think the GM did a very good job in the offseason in trying to acquire any good ones and we are seeing the results

They also need a 1st baseman that can hit
