Well the Cardinals lost their 1st conference series today. Hopefully will get it going again this week at home vs UIW

I still haven’t figured out why they seem to struggle vs A&M CC

Lamar just put themselves in a 3rd seed in the top 8 national seed regional or a 4 seed after this series loss.

I was posting the game score for today, however I can see where that would be confusing based on the record.  Should have posted score and record.

IMO, LU will have to win conference tournament. I don’t see the Southland getting an at-large bid.

I could see the same. I think for them to get an at large they will have to win every series from here on out

They’re going to have win almost all remaining games and get finals of tournament to think about an at-large. When LU was in the WAC, Grand Canyon got an at-large after New Mexico St came out of nowhere to win conference tournament. Grand Canyon had a dang good resume that year. It can happen, but resume wise isn’t in their favor.

Lamar wins tonight 20-2.  TSU walked 15 batters in 6 innings.  

Face UIW at home this weekend.

11-3 win. LU with 6 in the 8th to blow it open. Move ro 10-3 in conference and gain a 1/2 game on Nicholls as they are idle this weekend.

3-2 nail biter.  Big win!!!

Cards move to 33-8 and 11-3.

Hold a 1 and 1/2 game lead on Nicholls.

Lamar now holds a 2 game lead on Nicholls and a 3 game lead on UNO. As most if not all if you know, Lamar finishes conference with back to back road trips to those two. 

Southeastern loses to McNeese today and sits in last place.  To make matters worse the 2 teams above them, McNeese and HCU, each hold the head to head tiebreaker.  McNeese and HCU face each other the final weekend of conference.

Sure hope they got their weather timing accurate for Sunday because they have been off all week. Thought they might do doubleheader today. Saw lightning outside earlier.

Hoping for them to get it in as well. Game time now moved to 2. 

If any of you look at the standings, DON'T use the conference website as it once again has inaccurate records.  The Nicholls UIW series has Nicholls winning both games thus far in the series.  The 2 teams have split the first 2 of their series.
