18-6 final. Hesseltine goes the full 7 with 109 pitches.  Speculating here...he likely would not have gone out for the 7th if it wasn't for the need to save pitching.  Face the Pokes at 4.

Sacks jammed with no outs after a walk, double, and an intentional pass.  Skinner at plate.  Time to get greedy!!

The Cardinals are fighting like crazy after their 1st game loss. A win against McNeese tomorrow puts them in the championship game. Way to go Lamar, keep pounding the ball and hope pitchers can survive

Birds play Pokes at 1 as Nicholls sits waiting for the finals. SELA played Nicholls tough in both games of the tournament, but lost each by 1 run. So, if LU gets to finals they will be playing their 6th game and Nicholls will be playing their 4th.  Can Johnny Wholestaff hold up and the bats keep rolling?  Go Cards!

Yes, for sure the bats need to keep rolling. I don't know if either McNeese or Nicholls has one of their better pitchers "stashed" back to pitch in these games. Not sure either how we will go about using our staff. These tournament series often end up in a game similar to last night when all the pitching has been used up.

Reminds me of game 5 of the 2017 World Series when Houston beat Los Angeles 13-12 in ten innings.
