I told them I would be interested in helping out and voting, but I was never contacted. Wishing them the very best, but it's getting tougher and tougher for them I know. I helped out with the Bum Phillips Coach of the Year voting after the passing of Bob West. While my focus is definitely on my family now, I'm always here to help when I can. Quote

Expand Kind of apples and oranges. Award has always been about the season a player has and not what he is projected to be or ranked. I look at like college awards. Been many a player not win a Heisman and be a better pro than that Heisman winner. I do get what you are saying but some of the voters went strictly by the numbers. Can't really fault them for that.
