bullets13 Posted December 1, 2007 Report Posted December 1, 2007 it's better that they scored... they should've knelt and run the clock out.

Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted December 1, 2007 Report Posted December 1, 2007 fumble La Vega ball game over
bullets13 Posted December 1, 2007 Report Posted December 1, 2007 i hate this... they could've won this one. great year, stangs.
venom33 Posted December 1, 2007 Report Posted December 1, 2007 The kicking game hurt us.... No reason on earth we cant make a PAT,wouldve been a different game!!!!
Bucof2010 Posted December 1, 2007 Report Posted December 1, 2007 I hate how a whole season comes down to one game. Guess thats how its gotta be though.
adminbaberuth Posted December 1, 2007 Report Posted December 1, 2007 LaVega was a good ball club according to Coach Hooks on the after game interview. Too many 3rd and 3's that they didn't convert. If I heard him correctly, the last score was a gift, they let LaVega score so they could get the ball back and potentionaly drive and score to tie it up. The Stangs gain only 25 yards the second half.Anyway, great run by the Stangs again.
Cardfan Posted December 1, 2007 Report Posted December 1, 2007 To all you stangs you are still #1 in my book. Â The whole team did a great job.

IMO

WOS92 Posted December 1, 2007 Report Posted December 1, 2007 Too many field position gifts. Even the Chain Gang only has so many goal line stands in them. Tonight they shut them down on three or four drives inside the five before they finally were able to punch it in on yet another fourth down. When you consider that this was a "rebuilding year" (and it really was), I'll take 11-2 anyday.
BMTSoulja1 Posted December 1, 2007 Report Posted December 1, 2007 Great run for the stangs. these guys are always setting the trend for SETX football, and this year isn't any different. good game, boys.
Gabe Posted December 1, 2007 Report Posted December 1, 2007 I was on the field for the game. 11 plays for 0 first downs for the mustangs in the second half with just 22 yards!La Vega was a very, very fast team with a huge offensive line. In the second half they just ran right up the middle the entire time.Yes Hooks let them score to get the ball back, very smart call but it just didnt work out.Great season for the Mustangs
