DeKALB, Ill. - Looking to snap a four-game losing streak, Lamar University closes out its two-game road trip Saturday afternoon at Northern Illinois in non-conference men's basketball action. Tip-off is set for 1 p.m. at the Convocation Center.

This will be the seventh meeting between Lamar and NIU with the Cardinals holding a 4-2 all-time series advantage. Lamar is 2-1 in games played in Beaumont, 1-1 in DeKalb and 1-0 on a neutral court. Lamar has won the last three meetings in the series, including a 74-53 win last season in Beaumont on Dec. 20, 2006. The Cardinals won the last meeting in DeKalb, 57-53, on Nov. 25, 1997.
