Lamar finds a new way to lose

Just because we've had a bad start doesn't mean this is a bad team. We have to make some adjustments and guys like Jay Brown and LS need to step up but LS is starting to come around, and hopefully Jay Brown will. If those 2 start better and Dhop and Barrow start hitting shots, (with Dawkins still dominating), we will come around.

Look at the bright side of these losses

Ole Miss (not much good... but its Ole Miss)

Wyoming- could of beat them, came down to played in the last 1 and a half minute

ORU- was right in the game until the last 5 minutes. Had we have built on our 11 point lead it would of been ours

UNO- lost to a good team but started to comeback the last 10 minutes of the game

Northern Illinois- Had a chance at the end to win it and instead they get their hand at the right spot and tip the ball in, still should of won but we didn't.

Now if we lose to Louisiana College and St. Gregory's, then we have REAL problems. But until then, we need to support these guys. The season is far from being over.

I remember when I had your 'the glass is half full' attitude regarding the program.  Man, I wish I could muster up that positive attitude somewhere....but 20+ years of losing has wiped out all of my patience.  I want the program turned around and I want it turned around yesterday!!!  Hopefully things will get better, Roc will be the man, and I will gladly eat 500 lbs of crow.

(PS  I was on campus a month ago and bought a brand new pullover hoody LU sweatshirt.  Sweet looking.  I wear it with pride...even though our basketball team has been horrible for 20+ years.  Again, I don't say these things because I'm not a fan...I say them because I am and I want things to get better.)

I was on campus today and it is amazing the changes over the past 10 years. Can't wait until the student vote on the athletic fee. The campus could be undergoing even more changes over the next few years.

Yep..it's amazing what all they've been doing with the campus.  Simmons is the best thing that's happened to LU in a long long time.
