Matt Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 Lets see Dave Campbell has Central ranked in the top 25, but Ozen and Nederland are picked ahead of central in district,,, somethings amiss
Matt Posted June 8, 2006 Report Posted June 8, 2006 I always thought dave campbell was full of ****,,, i file mine under fiction
PNG Proud Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 Is dayton really that good or is he basing that on their previous districts competition. I can't see them competing that well in 22-4A. Let's hang onto this thread so we can compare notes at the end of the season. I just don't seee them finishing ahead of PN-G.
jdawg03 Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 these guys dont really know anything about the local districts...It would surprise me if they put in more than 5 minutes on each district... great source for information statewide, but they know nothing more than we do.... we will have our picks out in the next month or so...those will be legit
BHFAN Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 I can't see Huffman that low, but I hope BH is that high 21-4A picks 1. C.E. King 2. Barber's Hill 3. Crosby 4. New Caney 5. Galena Park 6. Forest Brook 7. Huffman 8. Houston Smiley
KFDM COOP Posted June 9, 2006 Author Report Posted June 9, 2006 Dayton has Dugat, a blue Chipper. He had 17 TD's along with 1,541 Yards last year.
WOS92 Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 Dayton does have a lot of potential with an all-state caliber RB, but I don't see them as a power in this district.

Their RB will surprise! Dayton only lost by a PAT to Ozen 14-13 in the playoffs IMHO Dayton takes one of top three spots!!
Matt Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 21-4A 1, 7 & 8 spots look right #2 New Caney #3 Crosby #4 Barbers Hill #5 Forest Brook #6 Galena Park thats the way i see it, depending on Forest Brook's mindset, if they want to play and give the effort, they could knock Crosby and Barbers Hill down a spot and move to third
Bread Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 i know all of you will think im an idiot, but vidor will finish ahead of lcm
Guest GoStangs Posted June 9, 2006 Report Posted June 9, 2006 i know all of you will think im an idiot' date=' but vidor will finish ahead of lcm[/quote'] I don't, and I hope you're right.

SilsbeeD Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 OF is my darkhorse in the district....i know they have size but my only question is their speed...if they can over come that then... im not sure but i bet it will be good
wildcats_08 Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 Orangefield won't finish last in district. who is orangefield ready to beat from that district>>>>>?
WOS92 Posted June 10, 2006 Report Posted June 10, 2006 I don't think it's a matter of being "proud of our area." I don't doubt that Dayton will come to play, but so will the other teams - including Ozen, who beat them last year and returns the top DB prospect in the state.

I would be shocked if Dayton doesn't make the top three. Just because Dayton was in a weaker district last year doesn't mean they were weak. It seems that most is thinkg Dayton might squeze into the top three IMHO Dayton could very well win this district. This area seems to have a knack for underestimating the teams that are not in their area.
