Whats going on with last years 2a power houses?

To much talent at both clubs I wouldn't count them out until they start losing district games.

Don't count them out but this won't be a 2 team district race this year.There are 6 clubs in this district who will be capable of beationg each other on any given night.

Kountze will float threw this district and for the Warren's Dewyville and Anahuac You have to play Good teams to get better and they haven't done that yet. i still see this District going to Kountze and then Hardin and then E.C.

i beleive if deweyville stays healthy they can make a run at the playoffs they have the perfect inside outside combo and they always play tough

Come on Dawg lets keep it real.Kountze should be the favorite because they are the defending state champs.EC has the Thomas factor so they are automatically a contender.Now as for the other clubs in this district they are trying to get to level of Kountze and EC.While they may not be there yet they are getting closer and every club in the district has players that make them capable of competing on any night.Anahuac has played as tough a schedule as anyone in the district and Warrens hasn't been a cakewalk.Just curious as to why when Kountze plays Big Sandy it's considered brutal and when Warren plays Spurger it's a soft schedule?Both these are pretty good 1-a schools.While it's still early in the season I still think this race is gonna be close,I don't see anyone floating thru it.Don't mean to down any of the other clubs but I don't know anything about there schedules so I can't comment on them.

When the Bucs get Mcdonald back it should help a lot. It well give them the inside threat and some height.  It will give Tramain some support and then the Bucs should get rolling.  Its going to be an exciting year in basketball in this district too.

silsbee, new waverly,lufkin hudson, goodrich and also big sandy thats a pretty tuff early schedule i am not a kountze fan but give the devil his due

I didn't say it wasn't tough but its no tougher than Anahuacs or EC.I just think this district is going to be a lot closer this year than it was last year.Last years Kountze club hung 100 on everyone in the district except EC and Warren.I don't see that kind of seperation this year.

i agree, districe 24-aa ia gonna be crazy, you wanna say kountze and ec at top, but  u cant say anything, you still gotta consider warren for sure, but then you got  hardin and deweyville, any of these 5 teams can upset anybody, this is gonna be the most comepetitive and crazy race for the districe crown and those three playoff spots, good luck to everyone ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Kountze and E.C. for top Fight for third. E.C. has been playing terrible I'll give yall that but they historically start out bad and turn out alright.

From what i heard...McDonald is suppose to be playing with the EC against HJ...and EC's three point shooter Quentin Joseph has something wrong with his back

Hardin has already beaten EC once and they played football a week longer.Don't overlook Hardin,Anahuac,Warren or Deweyville or it will be a mistake.
