whsalum Posted December 6, 2007 Report Share Posted December 6, 2007 Kountze will float threw this district and for the Warren's Dewyville and Anahuac You have to play Good teams to get better and they haven't done that yet. i still see this District going to Kountze and then Hardin and then E.C.Come on Dawg lets keep it real.Kountze should be the favorite because they are the defending state champs.EC has the Thomas factor so they are automatically a contender.Now as for the other clubs in this district they are trying to get to level of Kountze and EC.While they may not be there yet they are getting closer and every club in the district has players that make them capable of competing on any night.Anahuac has played as tough a schedule as anyone in the district and Warrens hasn't been a cakewalk.Just curious as to why when Kountze plays Big Sandy it's considered brutal and when Warren plays Spurger it's a soft schedule?Both these are pretty good 1-a schools.While it's still early in the season I still think this race is gonna be close,I don't see anyone floating thru it.Don't mean to down any of the other clubs but I don't know anything about there schedules so I can't comment on them. It will give Tramain some support and then the Bucs should get rolling. Its going to be an exciting year in basketball in this district too. whsalum Posted December 6, 2007 Report Share Posted December 6, 2007 I didn't say it wasn't tough but its no tougher than Anahuacs or EC.I just think this district is going to be a lot closer this year than it was last year.Last years Kountze club hung 100 on everyone in the district except EC and Warren.I don't see that kind of seperation this year.
