However, "mediocre" was good enough to beat Woodville JV. 3A JV is very low level football for high school, second only to "2A JV football". I have stated many times for everyone to read: “the kid looks like he will be a good player in the future” and that “he was one of the best JV players I saw this year”. Do you want me to say he was the best varsity player? Do you want me to say he beat CS JV? CS JV was "world beaters"? I will rely on the judgement of the WV coaches (who had him on JV) and what I witnessed (which was a loss to CS JV). Sorry if that is offensive. purpleeagle Posted June 13 Author Report Share Posted June 13 R. Williams was senior QB last year. He was selected as the all district offensive player. He was outstanding. Luke was a good young QB but he was not better than Williams. Luke has the potential to someday be better than Williams ,but that remains to be seen. We all know (or should) that we’re talking about kids so no matter what team that you support, to ensure that we’re being as encouraging and uplifting as we can be as grown (oftentimes immature) adults. Staying true to the subject topic, it should be a competitive game against Woodville & Fig Newton. I’d venture to say that the winner of this game will most definitely be crowned the district champs.
