Conservatives vs Liberals!

Reagan

Recommended Posts

There aren’t very many conservatives left. You have the liberals, the independents, a very, very small group of conservatives, and then MAGA… the people who worship Trump.

Conservatives believe that they know best how to spend their own money and want to keep it. Liberals believe that the solutions to all of our problems can be done with other peoples’ money. MAGA believes in whatever their daddy tells them.

How much are you charging Trump for rent?

Once trump is gone. What will it be then?

I suspect that a lot of Trump's supporters (the uneducated, white, blue collar, etc...) will fade back into whatever they used to do on the weekends.  Hunt, fish, get drunk, beat up their wives, etc...  I think that the conservative group who were somewhat politically astute before will wake up and realize that they've been sold a bill of goods, kinda like they did when the Tea Party fell apart a little over a decade ago... they'll sheepishly come back to their basics of conservativism instead of idolatry.

The scary thing is that nobody under the age of about 30 will ever disassociate Conservatism and MAGA, and they'll never again even consider supporting conservative candidates.....  The fact that MAGA is now poised to lose its fourth straight major election cycle should tell people something... it doesn't work.  I mean, it did once, against the previous most hated politician ever (Hillary), but once the masses got a taste of what Trump is about, they turned, and not even a woeful ticket like Biden/Harris can be stopped by MAGA.

Just last week Trump was vowing that anybody that supports any candidate other than him in the primary "isn't welcome" in the Republican Party.  For Christ's sake, Trump's daughter-in-law is about to be the co-chair of the RNC.  It's not the Republican party anymore, it's the Trump Party.  If it doesn't work, double down, i guess.

Some people would rather do things their way and fail than actually succeed, then claim that everybody else is stupid.  I don't understand it.

Insert Joe Biden!  I guess your BDS has yet to kick in.  Hard to believe you voted for Trump once, let alone twice.

Believe it, lol.

But with everything that's happened since I cast my last vote for Trump in 2020, I won't be voting for him again.  I've just got too many moral objections to do it again.

My thought is that maybe, just maybe, if MAGA gets it's teeth inexcusably kicked in again, they'll realize that they can't win with that guy or his brand of politics and behaviors.  But I can already hear the cries about cheating... there's no way that MAGA can admit that they lost, no matter how broadly they get outvoted.

But, hopefully after November when Trump has again lost, y'all will remember that CB professed almost two years ago, that "the race is over and the Democrats will win if Trump even announces that he's running in 2024."

Moral objections🙄 What a cop out!  What’s bad is there are those like you that TDS has skewed your logic into thinking that any commie/socialist/liberal is better for the country than Trump.  Another Dimocrat in office would be a total disaster for the US.  Watch and see!!

Actually, it's more like choosing which poison you prefer.

The problem that MAGA has is this.... the wheels didn't fall off when Biden took office.  In fact, we're in better shape now than at any point in Trump's term.  With the exception of the migrant crisis, of course,... but by an other measure things haven't been bad.  Me?  I'd rather watch some old dude fall around all over the place and get confused about everything than listen to four more years of Trump's nonsense.

And most Americans agree with me.  Them Trump flags gonna be at half mast come November.

I have no issue with that. Just don't vote for Biden...

I won't... or any other Democrat, for that matter.  Those same objections that I can't overcome regarding voting for Trump exist when it comes to voting for a Democrat, too, lol.

I was standing in a group with two other intellectuals the other day (ok, that was purely to get a response, lol) and all three of us apparently voted Haley last week.  Trump's gonna carry Texas, no doubt... and I really don't care a whole lot for her.  But at least she's not Trump.  I mean, if we wouldn't even vote for Cruz in 2016, Haley's not gonna take the Lone Star state this time.

Seriously?!  The migrant crisis is the only bad thing going on right now?  People are entitled to their own opinions but they are not entitled to their own facts!

You admitted you didn't like his nonsense.  But, what policies did you disagree with Trump on?

Plus, I don't think the Dems agree with your pessimism that Trump can't get elected.  Look at the "lawfare" they waging against a private citizen.  And none of it is true.  All will eventually be thrown out.  Just trying to tie him up.  If he wasn't a threat, they'd leave him alone.  Even should help him with his campaign if he has no chance of getting elected like you say.

Well, for starters he failed to repeal and replace Obamacare like he (and everybody else) promised.

He also cut taxes without any cuts to spending that led to huge increases in our debt.  He spent like a liberal… no one can point at a single program that had spending cuts during Trump’s term.

Trump basically proved that a terrible leader with pro- business policies could spur the economy- basically doing the opposite of Obama. But he was a complete embarrassment as the commander and chief and executive in general. The mean-spiritedness from him towards EVERYBODY was just too much for me.

President is supposed to be a Unifier. He fights everybody. The democrats, foreigners, other republicans, his own staff, the media… he’s the worst possible person to lead anything, regardless of his policies.

Very true, the democrats (and squishy moderates) are telling us how Trump has no chance of winning but are doing everything they can to knock him out so they can face…the cake-walk candidate?

Sounds eerily similar to biden!  biden is as much of a unifier as the last po💩Dimocrat that we had in office.

Where have you seen Biden attacking members of his own party the way that Trump attacks republicans? When have you seen Biden publicly attack his own staff?

They’re not knocking him out, they’re using the courts to galvanize the trump voters around him. They WANT him to be the Republican nominee. Trump is in a dead heat vs Biden, but Haley is up 13 points on Biden. The Dems need Trump as the Republican nominee, and attacking him motivates trumps followers to stay the course. The media keeps cackling, “every time trump gets indicted, his ratings AMONG Republicans go up! Let’s do it again!”

You are absolutely, without a doubt, the most pathetic political analyst I have ever seen.

Please don’t quit whatever important job you are currently doing.
