Lamar has been ranked as high as 19th in the regular season in the AP poll at the DI level. I'll be glad when those days return but I have to remind myself to be patient. After 20 years, I must admit my patients is running thin.

Lamar lost the same day the poll came out, I think to Arkansas State, and they were out of the poll the next week.  Too bad they only ranked the top 20 teams, not 25 like today, or Lamar might have been ranked more than just one week.

Once again...great for Sam but I'm more concerned about LU.  We are ranked 283 by Sagarin.  Impressive....

Agree, great for SHSU and the SLC as a whole but my focus is on what Lamar is doing.
