That sequence was huge.  After kinda getting the bad end on some bounces for most of the quarter Washington missed two easy steals and it led directly to that dunk to go up 2 possessions

That's 5 regional championships in last 9 years for Silsbee. 7 in last 20.

Will be their 10th state tourney trip overall for the Tigers. 5th in last 9 years.

In the last 20 seasons, Silsbee has either won or played for the regional championship in 14 of those seasons. Also, in 17 of those seasons, Silsbee either won or was beat by the eventual region champion in the playoffs. Only 3 years that didn't happen was 2009, 2011 and 2020.

For two decades, Silsbee has run 4A Region III.

To me the final score was actually 79-68.  That tech was completely unnecessary and ridiculously picky.

If Stafford wins, that will guarantee that Silsbee and FF will not play each other in semifinal.

Randall and Stafford both have better winning percentages than Silsbee and FF. They would be the #1 and #2 seeds. Then those two would flip to see who plays Silsbee and FF.

Now if Iowa Colony wins, Silsbee will be the #2 seed and Randall would be #1. Then it's a 50/50 that Silsbee could play FF in semis
