Yes absolutely the right call. They started the clock way late on the last shot and with .3 seconds there's just no way he got it off in time. Was shocked they even added .3 seconds in the first place.

The only argument would be that you used the clock operator all game but then say he/she is irrelevant in this situation.

When New Home Coach goes back and watches this film he will be sick of how much he let his team dribble around with no play whatsoever and the end of regulation and end of overtime.  Call a time out and work up a play at least!
