beaumontballer44 Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 How will this team do next year? I know they lost alot of seniors. Who will the starting qb be?
Pimp Smack Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 Probably Kendall Duvall who played at the defensive end position this year. There is also a very talented freshmen (Ryan Hughes) who will be most likely be on varsity next year.
Guest beards_bro Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 From what I've been hearing lately......Our O-Line will be bigger and possibly just as good if not better.
Pimp Smack Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 From what I've been hearing lately......Our O-Line will be bigger and possibly just as good if not better.ha. Not a chance. Left tackle and Center will be returning. Thats it.
TNTITANS Posted December 6, 2007 Report Posted December 6, 2007 I think Beard's Bro may have an insight though, Pimp Smack, hopefully he does. I don't know I am a long way away but I have talked to others on here and I think he may know.
82 5A State Champs Posted December 7, 2007 Report Posted December 7, 2007 .....someone told me that there were only 8 varsity players returning next year. Any truth to that?
Raider81 Posted December 7, 2007 Report Posted December 7, 2007 .....someone told me that there were only 8 varsity players returning next year. Any truth to that? There were 30 seniors on the L-train this year.
WTB Posted December 7, 2007 Report Posted December 7, 2007 actually pimp the OL has an extremely good chance to be better and dont forget Burkhalter played alot at Tightend in the 2 tight sets the last 4 games and he will take one of the guard or tackle spots. dont listen to pimp smack he never played football. but anyways Lumberton should be very competitive alot of core players coming back. 3 DL and the MLB and on O you will have 3 OL which contain your 2 best with Gilliam and Howden just have to fill some holes but Murrill will play some offense probably and a few young kids with some talent will probably fill the holes. Of course at RB Beard and Hanna will share the load and both avg over 9 per carry this year in limited time but they are very talanted. and at WR you will have Granato back and maybe Freeman, Keith who is the fastest of the group and Sparks who will help out. but thats along way away and will take a good offseason so we will see next year.
footballfan5261 Posted December 7, 2007 Report Posted December 7, 2007 im just guessing.. but i bet he is a player for the raiders.
WTB Posted December 7, 2007 Report Posted December 7, 2007 no Pimp Smack is not i know who he is. he has never played a down for the raiders in highschool. i think he got kicked out in middleschool or something like that. trust me on this one
Guest TravelingBandsman Posted December 7, 2007 Report Posted December 7, 2007 I'm predicting 2nd or 3rd place next year for Lumberton if Dayton isn't there.
TNTITANS Posted December 7, 2007 Report Posted December 7, 2007 WTB- I think FootballFan meant he is just guessing but you must play for the Raiders, I don't think he was talking about Pimp Smack.
baseball_1989 Posted December 7, 2007 Report Posted December 7, 2007 Lumberton has Beard, Hanna, Duvall, and Howden coming back. Those four already make me feel good about next season!
raider09 Posted December 7, 2007 Report Posted December 7, 2007 But I am guessing pimpsmack does know some of the players that playped for the raiders this year..
Guest beards_bro Posted December 7, 2007 Report Posted December 7, 2007 I know that the only lineman returning from this years team are Hunter Howden, LT & Kyle Gillam, Center. But....I do know that we have (2) really good sophomores from this years J.V. team moving up to varsity in 2008 and they are very good & have good size and will make a big impact. They are Seth Cooke & Grillo.....the older Grillo's/Fullback's little brother..I just can't think of his first name right now.
