BABOLAT2 Posted April 18, 2008 Report Posted April 18, 2008 Shana and Deaver are prolly the best champs around here!!!! Apparently she isn't the best champ in the area
Volley_baller2010 Posted April 18, 2008 Report Posted April 18, 2008 i have seen shana play she is a great champ she represents duh and she is a GREAT champ in the area every1 has a bad game EVERY1 even you BABOLAT2
BABOLAT2 Posted April 21, 2008 Report Posted April 21, 2008 I never said she wasn't a great champ, I just said she wasn't the best champ in the area. What makes a great champ is not having one of those bad days and until you can have the mental game to play your best every match, then you still have a lot to learn.

SLandry09 Posted January 29, 2009 Report Posted January 29, 2009 That's right. Chuck Norris probably doesn't even need a raquet to beat someone in tennis. He's just that awesome.
Cowboy4jc Posted February 16, 2009 Report Posted February 16, 2009 What do you have to do to be a champ or super?
bigballer10 Posted February 16, 2009 Report Posted February 16, 2009 There is such thing as controlling a bad day and maintaining your status as a great player.
bigballer10 Posted February 16, 2009 Report Posted February 16, 2009 And I agree with BABOLAT2 that you have to maintain mental stability.
garsnare Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 What do you have to do to be a champ or super? You have to start in the Zats. If you get 65 points in your best 4 tournaments you qualify for Champs. Once you are in Champs you have to get 80 points in your best 3 Major Zones to qualify for Supers.

I'm new to the world of competitive tennis so I am sorry for all of the questions but what is Zats?
garsnare Posted February 18, 2009 Report Posted February 18, 2009 Zats are USTA tournaments. There is one in the Houston area every month. They are divided by age groups. 12, 14 16, 18.

Babolat Baller Posted February 23, 2009 Report Posted February 23, 2009 Most Champs and Supers are graduating or will graduate in the next two years. I don't know about 4a but 3a has gone down a lot in three years. 2a has no one. But there are a lot of good players out there who don't play USTA that could hold their own against the Champs and Supers of this area.
aeropro7 Posted March 7, 2009 Author Report Posted March 7, 2009 But there are a lot of good players out there who don't play USTA that could hold their own against the Champs and Supers of this area. no there aren't..
Babolat Baller Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 OK there aeropro 7, just because someone doesn't have the resources to play USTA doesn't mean that they can't hold their own against USTA players.
bigballer10 Posted March 16, 2009 Report Posted March 16, 2009 I'm almost a champ. And I'm not ashamed to say I have been beat by a person that doesn't play usta. So?
