(AP) - Brandon Long hit a runner in the lane with 6.3 seconds remaining to give UT Arlington a 60-59 victory over Wichita State Friday night.Wichita State's Gal Mekel's lost control of the ball while driving to the basket as the buzzer sounded, giving the Mavericks (8-0) the win.UT Arlington was led by Rog'er Guignard's 17 points.P.J. Couisnard scored 16 of his 20 points in the second half for Wichita State (5-3). After UT Arlington led for 11 minutes, Couisnard scored five straight points to give the Shockers a 53-52 lead with 5:31 to play.Guignard hit a 3-pointer - one of his five in the game - about two minutes later, making it 55-54 Mavericks. After Wichita State scored five straight, Anthony Vereen's three-point play cut the Shockers' lead to 59-58 with 1:25 remaining.Wichita State then missed a 3-pointer and had a turnover to set up Long's big shot. The Shockers hit only 4 of 29 3-point shots in the game.UT Arlington entered the game as one of 18 remaining undefeated teams in NCAA Division I. The Mavericks had not played in front of a crowd of more than 2,122 before Friday night, but they weren't rattled by the sell-out crowd of 10,478.UT Arlington made seven of its first 11 shots, including three 3-pointers from Guignard, to lead 18-13 after the game's first 10 minutes. After Wichita State went on a 17-4 run, led by J.T.
