Why is there not a female player of the week chosen?

Last year on the Girls forum there never enough nominations. We can try it again i guess.

Your reply on why not a girls player of the week is disappointing. At least a sports guy should try to cover all the sports boys and girls. Your ( I guess ) was unprofessional. I realize not everyone likes to talk about girls sports but over half of all babies born are girls and if there were more equal coverage for girls it might start a positive reaction toward girl athletics.  (  and that is all I got to say about that )

Anyone who knows Coop knows he covers all the teams boys and girls.He depends on eyes and ears from all over to get his info.I am a huge girls fan but the folks who have players on the teams need to get more involved in talking it up.There are too many good girls players in the area to keep them a secret.Thats exactly why I nominated the girl from HJ on the board.She deserves some credit for being an unbelievable player.
