Barbers Hill led 19-0 at the end of one and 39-8 at the half to cruise to the win.“I thought it was real important for us to get a district win and come out and play aggressive,†Barbers Hill head coach John Chancellor said. “We played old style Barbers Hill basketball and got after them baseline to baseline.â€Keely Rivera scored 16 points to lead Barbers Hill and Jasmine Carter and Shannon Mudd each reached double figures with 11 points. Overall it was team win as the bench made a solid contribution.“Our young players have weathered the storm,†Chancellor said. “The early games helped and they are starting to come together.â€Barbers Hill (10-6) will return to action on Tuesday when it hosts Forest Brook.
