Again not really a shocker here.  The substance was not banned by the sport, and to my knowlege was not illegal and still is not when Pettite said he took it.  Why is that a big deal?  If you do not want players taking things to help them recover, or improve their abilities then ban the substance.  Do not fault a player for playing within the rules of the era.
