Guest TravelingBandsman Posted December 19, 2007 Report Posted December 19, 2007 Highland Park wins this one. Lake Travis is good but not good enough to beat the likes of Highland Park. I knew if Dayton went to state, we'd get beat by whoever was there. Everman could beat both Lake Travis and Dayton. It's gonna be an interesting time in the LT stands when they find out that Gilbert is getting shut down. Wonder how he will feel. He hated it when Dayton players were actually breaking through the O-line and getting close to him.Highland Park 35Lake Travis 14

dayton Posted December 20, 2007 Report Posted December 20, 2007 Was this before or after they scored 49 points?he threw his only Int on their second drive of the game due to the pressure. one of our few bright spots. :-\
Guest TravelingBandsman Posted December 21, 2007 Report Posted December 21, 2007 Was this before or after they scored 49 points? The 49 points don't matter in this equation. On several occasions a few players would get through the O-line and put pressure on Gilbert. You could tell he was not used to it and hated it. Of course he has help from the O-line that would rather take a holding penalty than see Gilbert sacked.
