I was not bashing him. I was wondering how everyone felt about his first year at BC.

I was impressed with the way he handled his kids.In all fairness he probably doesn't have the horses to compete in the district he's in this year but he is teaching them the proper fundamentals.He will win some ballgames this year and you will see that program start to turn around.Seemed to be a very disciplined team both times I saw them this year.

Very solid post player and another kid who shot the ball well from the perimeter.Didn't beat themselves and didn't commit a lot of mistakes.Not sure how many underclassmen they have but they are much better than they were last year.

yea they have alot of seniors only 4 of there varsity team are juniors and only one of them a starter....

I'm sure Breaux and Hubbard will play basketball next year as Seniors.. each of them took this year off for baseball and football, and both of them started as sophomores last year..

there's  more than  juniors on varsity... Tyler Hyde, Justin Reynolds, Mason Ellis, Justin Pittman, Cody Eldridge,.. I don't udnerstand why about 5 or 6 other Sophomores last year aren't playing basketball this year besides Breaux and Hubbard

It's understandable when you're team just went 0-10 in football..Those  Juniors that aren't playing basketball that are  on the football team are trying to turn things around for thier Senior year.. you can't blame them for wanting to make BC a football school again.. That's the pride of Bridge City..

all those names are juniors this year...and on varsity.....

but breauc and hubbard might come back next year but definately wont be as talented as the ones playing now.. but they will contribute

he is a hard worker ,and cares about the team. Just give him time and hopefully the kids will follow his work habbit

The man impressed me.  I feel he will do a good job for BC if given time.  It takes a while to build a program, but he seemed capable.  However, I liked him better the first time we played him!

There are 4 or 5 Knight brothers. Jamie is the youngest and I think Tony is just older than him. He is a good guy.

BC basketball has always been about a time kiiler, in other words, kill time till baseball without having to put forth much effort.  In what I have seen and heard all of that has changed since Knight took over.  You don't just decide to come back your senior year.  he is trying to build a program and alot of times you might have less talent but you have something that they have never been asked to have before which is committment.  If these guys continue to play as a team, get better against the press, they are going to surprise this year.  that's not to say a playoff spot but remember, he has less talent than they did last year and yet they already have more wins than all of last year.  If that does not say something about the guy nothing else we write will.

it will be easier to judge when district is over if they can beat them teams they should beat and play HJ Silsbee OF in respectable games then he has done a good job he is a very good coach i think he can do that
