Guest abovetherim Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 There is no comparison between the money raised at SE Louisana and the numbers I've heard are pledged to Lamar.
UNLV Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 What good in raising all that money only to play Tarleton st.
Guest coachacola Posted December 18, 2007 Report Posted December 18, 2007 They went with a head coach from the Big 12, not some HC coach. I hope that's one thing Lamar learns from SELA.
lcm2007ms Posted December 19, 2007 Report Posted December 19, 2007 There is no comparison between the money raised at SE Louisana and the numbers I've heard are pledged to Lamar. so are you saying that lamar will have more or less than SE Louisiana?
Guest abovetherim Posted December 19, 2007 Report Posted December 19, 2007 Lets just say Lamar already has pledges in the millions. They have much more than $5 million raised by SE Louisiana.

Guest abovetherim Posted December 19, 2007 Report Posted December 19, 2007 There is a reason for everything. Why did Lamar decide to put down Field-Turf now? To keep Coach Gilligan happy? I have a great feeling about the student vote coming up in January. Heck, I'll be voting and the vast majority of people I know who are students support the sports fee. Of course, nothing is going to make everyone happy but I think most people around Lamar want football to return and the additional students and federal funding won't hurt.
