So, in the past five years only the 1st year soccer team, men's and women's tennis teams and the men's and women's basketball teams haven't won SLC championships.

Personally, I'm still on board with Coach Roc. I'm really excited about the women's program under Coach Tidwell. The tennis programs appear to be much improved over recent years. Hopefully, Coach Tubbs will make a good hire for the soccer program and then this spring Dr. Simmons and Coach Tubbs announce the return of football, the addition of softball and I believe the Lamar University sports program would be embraced by the SLC or any other mid-major conference in America.
