Sen. Tom Cotton was talking about all the tents set up at the Ivy League schools. Poor college stundents are so poor they scream to have the debt "forgiven" (transferred to us) but suddenly hundreds of brand new $500 tents show up. That Soros money does a lot.

I get the sentiment but I sometimes ponder when others may say, “We always support the Constitution”, “The Constitution has to be followed as the law of the land”, etc.

 When in reality they mean, “I LOVE THE CONSTITUTION……. except the parts I don’t like”.

There are certainly parts of the Constitution that I would change if I had the option. 

There are limits. Like I said, what would happen to a white kid on a campus that walked around screaming "Death to blacks" and burning a cross? 

Would the Constitution protect him? No way! He would be arrested for a Federal hate crime so fast his head would swim. Immeadiately expelled. Do prison time. DOJ, FBI, CIA, etc. would flip out. Conversely the HAMAS terrostists on the campuses today are being "arrested" then immeadiately released with NO CHARGES. 

The Constitution, just like many Laws, are only applied when it fits the Liberal worldview.

Isn't it obvious? What do you think the "cancel culture" has done? Conservatives have been attacked and even beaten on college campuses when invited to speak. People have been fired from work for being a conservative. Actors have been kicked out of Hollywood for being a consevative. Twitter, Facebook and youTube have banned conservatives (election interferance)  including Trump. Athletes have been kicked off teams for being conseratives. On and on and on.

I understand what you're saying, and I get it. But that's not literally outlawing free speech. Every American still has that right.

You start opening fire and drop about 10 or 12 of these protesting morons it will break up pretty quick.

I ve seen this done in several other countries.  And in those countries it happens very lil because of the severity of the consequences.  

I saw a video of other world leaders ask “why does America allow such destructiveness” when all the civil unrest was happening because a criminal/criminals were killed  by not following commands.  
 

we have a great system in place but it’s been compromised and we could still learn from other countries.

Some people have done jail or prison time. I remember some went to jail for flying a Confederate flag. People get arrested for “hate speech” all the time.

Freedom of Speech doesn't mean you can literally say whatever you want whenever you want. Never has. We all have heard the old "Can't yell fire in a crowded theater" reasoning.

Exception to free speech examples (of course these are very broad and are restricted in certain instances): obscenity, defamation, fraud, incitement, fighting words, true threats, speech integral to criminal conduct, child pornography...

Look at the woman I mentioned in an earlier post, moves from protest to protest, been arrested over 80 times, and is probably funded by Soros and his ilk and without a doubt is a true blue democrat.
