I thought the spring game went well! Exciting times for sure. Dogs looking better coached than in the past, tackling looked 10x better.. offense new system, a little growing pains, but with a brand system I thought they did well. The o line looked bigger yesterday than it did in the fall… one thing I was truly glad to see black and gold teams had 2 big rosters so safe to say the football kids are staying in the program and turn out quality work…. Now for the kids to buy into the summer strength and conditioning program the coaches have in store for the athletes.

I simply asked a question, since at the time of my post no one had reported how the spring game went and that was about 11pm. I did not think my post was negative, simply asking a question.

Of course instead of getting an answer on how it went, we get all this half empty and negative comments reactions.  However, I do thank the 2 or 3 post on how they thought the scrimmage went, especially the better coaching comments and the changing of some positions to help the Dogs this coming season

As far as the other posters that simply try and out me down, why did you simply state your thoughts on the scrimmage.   If you were not there like me I apologize to you. If you were at the scrimmage simply post how you thank it went like a couple of posters did

Making. A statement assuming it was bad because you had no feedback is blatantly negative….when you have no information and assume the worst, this is the definition of pessimism….you earned those comments 

on a more real note, glad to hear they looked encouraging, bigger, and had good numbers…

Razor that comment was made because when they look improved, Bulldog fans usually start posting within 5 minutes after the scrimmage or game. I made that is jest due to no responses in hours after the scrimmage Certainly glad to see they are getting better coaching and look better

I liked how Coach Rich framed it in his short interview with one of the news outlets - Getting fundamental football basics down. Not trying to razzle dazzle anyone. Starting where he needs to and moving from there. Nederland is in good hands.

Completely new offensive system, or just new twists?

Now let’s see there is lake creek, Huntsville, PNG, then the battle for 4th. No, no, Nederland  finished 4th last year and that demanded a new coach. Wonder if this new coach knows what he is getting in to. Remember it has nothing to do with the players, it is all about the coach. Nederland is getting most of their starters back and should be better. Nederland scrimmaging Nederland does not mean much.  
I do wish the new coach and the players the best. 
I do hope that in the future this site will start enforcing the rule about bashing people on this site. It only takes a few to ruin this site. Do not think that you(or this site) is exempted from civil suit.

      Yeah, BH put up 62, but some of that was OT. In any case its hard to believe they could only score 10 on GB. Equally hard to believe GB could only score 3 on AMC!

      Resumes' matter. No, they don't win games but they matter. LP has a much better resume' this year, while BH had to scratch just to get into the playoffs, and has an almost all Soph fill in skill team. LP is easily the favorite.

      I woke up this morning with an Eagle flying overhead, being the good tracker I am i believe it's an omen and the Igles will pull this one out. My brain says LP but the Eagle said BH.
