LC-M is open

Head coach Brad Jeffcoat will be leaving the coaching business. He has taken an industrial sales job. 

Coach Jeffcoat has really enhanced the basketball program at LC-M. He has done really well. He was 154-112 at LC-M. This is a very good job opening.

I expect a promotion to happen here and not an outside hire.

 

On a personal note. I will miss my friend Brad in the gyms. Always enjoyed my time talking with him.

Brad is a great dude with a sharp sense of humor.  They will miss him over here.

Not super surprising - he was looking to leave LCM after the 22-23 season (can't blame him). Best of luck, Coach!

I heard the assistant was going to get this job and assume it was referring to the old Vidor coach, Nate Smith.  I always thought he did more with less at Vidor and can't help but think he shares some responsibility in Vidor's recent success.

With Daspit getting BC job, Smith will be getting LC-M HC position.

Nate Smith, former HC at Vidor and current assistant at LC-M, has been promoted to HC at LC-M.
