I’ve seen the ran him off convos. I think alot of people are mad because it seems like they didn’t do anything to keep him.

How would anyone know what was done to keep or not keep him? 

He's a great coach and has a great resume right now - With only two returners, I think he left at the best time with the most leverage.

Pretty sure he had a lot of success as the smallest school in the division as well when OF went back and forth between 4A and 3A

2021-2022 went 4 Rounds both years being the 3rd smallest school in 4a classification. Winning District both of those years.

4 rounds is the region finals,I understood it as this year was the first and only year OF made it there?

No sir. 4th Round is the Regional Semifinal which Orangefield played Rusk in 2021 and China Spring 2022. 5th round is regional final

I thought the team with Jase Statum (A&M) and Jacob Felts (UT) went 5 rounds or so deep?

They did, they also lost in the Regional Finals. In 1990 with Jeff Granger they lost in the state semifinals.

I knew they went deep with that one team.  I had forgotten they lost to Jasper in the game before state, like BC did a few years before.  They also apparently played an epic three gamer against WOS earlier in the playoffs.  Didn’t remember that either.
