jackleg Posted December 22, 2007 Report Posted December 22, 2007 soonermagic's woodpile boys took'em behind the woodshed.....
AggiesAreWe Posted December 22, 2007 Report Posted December 22, 2007 This one shocks me. After watching Hardin defeat Kountze, I figure them to be able to handle Woodville. Going to be an interesting 2A season.
TopDawG52 Posted December 22, 2007 Report Posted December 22, 2007 I don't understand how Kountze can Manhandle Woodville in the Big Sandy Tournament and Woodville beats a Team that Beat Kountze by 22. Shows you how A Game can be if a team is having a off night.
bballer08 Posted December 22, 2007 Report Posted December 22, 2007 marsh, wut happend///// i thought hardin would of won by ten
Hupernikomen Posted December 22, 2007 Report Posted December 22, 2007 One wonders if all the players were present.
warfan Posted December 22, 2007 Report Posted December 22, 2007 They were all there. Hardin played about like they did against Kountze. Woodville pushed the ball up the court well and kept Marsh out of play.

whsalum Posted December 22, 2007 Report Posted December 22, 2007 Hardin appeared to have a let down this afternoon.I saw this game and the one against Kountze and they just never got in this one.Woodville took care of the basketball and took high percentage shots and Hardin just didn't shoot it very well today.
footballfan5261 Posted December 22, 2007 Report Posted December 22, 2007 Kountze didnt play well against Hardin. and that was obvious.. Hardin will not beat Kountze again and Kountze will be fine.. but i would have thought they would beat woodvill too. lol
kellite Posted December 22, 2007 Report Posted December 22, 2007 Kountze didn't play bad. Their whole offense revolves around the press and Brey. If you break the press you can beat them, an if Brey can't showboat he is irrelevant. Hardin did both and really didn't play very well doing it.
Guest oldplayer Posted December 22, 2007 Report Posted December 22, 2007 Kountze play good, hardin was the better team that night plain and simple.....Hardin lost to woodville who cares its a non district game and they just came off a big win that stuff happens...Hardin is 12-3 thats a very good record and there a very good team.....but Kountze played good tues it was just that hardin played better...if you don't think they played good it was prob becasue hardin was physical and played very hard.....I heard hardin was just flat as can be yesterday and thats going to happen....

whsalum Posted December 22, 2007 Report Posted December 22, 2007 The ballgame between Kountze and Hardin came down to Kountzes shot selection and there poor performance at the FT line.Hardin played hard and deserved the win on that night but they didn't handle the press very well.Kountze had the open looks they just didn't convert on the outside shots.I think they took those shots to keep from challenging Marsh inside which is understandable,he can make you alter your shot or block it if you don't.Hardin had a let down against Woodville which is very common after a big game like they played Tuesday.Woodville isn't a bad club by any means, they will not beat themselves so you better show up to play or your in trouble.

IMO that is playing bad. Hardin is a good team and could beat KTZ again, but i don't see it happening.
hdbasketballstar Posted December 28, 2007 Report Posted December 28, 2007 Well Hardin also missed 8 FTs. And your probably right. You have to be 15+ points better than Kountze to beat them in Kountze, so your right, Hardin may not beat them again, but they were better than Kountze and that was that. Now as for the Woodville Hardin game, Woodville came out pumped and ready to play. Hardin was real flat throughout the entire game. whsalum hit it right on. Hardin must of underestimated Woodville or didn't feel like getting hurt in a non district game. We may never know now, but they are playin in the championship today in groveton so we will see if they can get it back together now.
