I would not argue with his statement however…..

A couple of times he said that he was speculating. He drew no conclusions from his speculations, He also said, 9 out 10 times you would make that shot so there is in his estimation a 10% chance of failure. I think it’s a little more but okay. He is also likely talking about a person who is prone and has probably had time to get his natural point of aim. I don’t think the roof topper had that time.

According to the mayor who spoke on camera, two officers attempted to get into the roof but couldn’t find easy access so they did what they should have done if mayor is correct. One stood in the shoulders of the other and grabbed onto the roof edge to pull himself up. As soon as his eyes cleared the roof edge (I always hated that), he saw the shooter who turned on him. The officer literally let go and fell off the roof and injured his ankle. The two officers immediately called for help. A few moments later shots were being fired.

The mayor wasn’t there and was likely only reporting probably what his chief of police told him.

Let’s speculate that the mayor was giving factual information which seems plausible. Two officers, possibly working a traffic detail, broke away from their assignment when people started yelling. Finding no easy access they tried to boost each other up onto the roof. I know on swat we would practice putting a 6 man team on the roof and back down with no ladder or anything to climb onto.

The shooter was confronted with officers and getting them to back away, had to get down quickly and rush his shots. As a matter of fact that perhaps goes along with the video taken from the ground level cell phone where the guy is seen prone and looks to quickly get up and go back down.

I think that really increases the odds of missing by more than 10% but like the guy in the video, it is speculation.

So I don’t disagree with anything he said but there are several assumptions made. We know what assumptions do.

I agree, wholeheartedly. There is no doubt that there could be more than a 10% chance of missing. Although the kid has experience on a rifle range, there’s a big difference with nerves, concentration, and perfect timing shooting at a moving target. At the end of the day, he was still just a nutcase kid trying to kill someone probably for the first time.

Yep. I can only imagine how it is when you’ve intentionally lined up a human being in your sights knowing someone will be aiming for your own head in the next 3 seconds.

Kennedy was shot with a POS rifle while in a moving vehicle, according to the Warren Commission. The head snapping back on the second shot was explained by saying the head can snap backwards being shot from behind. I never believed that and still don’t.
I can’t say what made this idiot miss Trump. Probably he rushed to get the shots off is my best guess. The only one who really knows is dead.

Because he was confronted by a local police officer who made him go to a now or never mode.

I can see a person on a roof 130 yards away. I’m almost positive I could tell you if he had a rifle (which he was doing nothing to hide). If the persons responsible for taking him out BEFORE he fired his gun were told to stand down, that’s not a blunder, that’s criminal……and yes, that’s conspiracy.

That’s biden’s administration for you.  Used his DOJ for the witch-hunt, and when that didn’t work, he brought our LBJ’s and the Clinton’s tactic, have those that you don’t like killed.  biden should have gotten some of the Clinton’s ppl to help him out with Trump.

“He’s senile! He has dementia! He should leave office now! He’s a potato!”

”But he also orchestrated the theft of the election, used his presidency to make himself rich with bribes and kickbacks, and used the DOJ for the witch-hunt, and when that didn’t work used LBJ’s and Clinton’s tactic and tried to have my Daddy killed!!!!”

He’s both an evil mastermind and a houseplant according to y’all.

Fox News is CRYING this morning. No smiles anywhere.

Harris has raised $100million now, and signed up 58,000 new volunteers.

Fun math… since 2016, 21 million baby boomers have gone on to their heavenly rewards. There have also been 41 million Gen Z’ers who have become eligible to vote.

The math is mathin’.

Can we do an informal poll?

Which is worse, in your own personal opinion(s)? A young single woman sleeping with her boss and eventually getting a promotion, or a married man leaving his wife and child at home to have sex with a porn star?

It’s fun to watch the Rs scream about “Heels up Harris” when six weeks ago they were arguing that morals don’t matter because their guy was getting his extramarital affair with Stormy Daniels laid out in a courtroom.  That’s the problem with looking the other way instead of doing the right thing. It always comes back to haunt you.

That is some funny stuff right there. You continually raise the bar on the laugh meter...and hypocrisy meter.

I guess I will now change my vote to a woman that slept her way to her position because my "morals" are weighing heavy on me. Too funny.

Most people can easily discern what actions are attributable to Biden versus his handlers. I'm not sure why it is too difficult for you. Perhaps a severe case of TDS? What do you think?

I can see that your analytical skills are on par with CardinalBacker. And I bet you think that is a compliment. LOL

Yup.... Their best argument against Biden was "he's too old."  Now it's going to be used against Trump.  He's what?  80?

They can't gripe about her morals.... his are worse.  I also think that his VP pick is going to come back to bite him.  Not saying Vance is a bad guy, but he was a bone tossed specifically to MAGA- who were already in the bag.  The only thing that I believe stops the train that rolled out on Sunday is a really bad VP pick for Kamala... she needs to do what Trump didn't and find a VP that complements her.   An obvious "DEI type" choice from a very blue state could stall her momentum.

My prediction is that Trump is gonna Trump and get super nasty.... which will delight his fans, but alienate the moderates who he really needs.

Just remember in January that we had better choices... we just decided as a party that we'd rather lose with Trump than win.

Yep, Trump is going to get nasty. He might even come up with a nickname for Kamala. Oh the horror. But I bet he doesn’t make up lies like some do. You know who I'm talking about.
