Never say never and I have no clue what’s up their sleeves but why would Bill and Hillary Clinton publicly endorsed Harris almost immediately?

We could play some “what if” games.

I think there is already a lot of rumbling about the DNC trying to cancel Harris which is going to really make quite a few Democrat supporters angry. Now toss in Clinton. Let’s say she accepts the nomination at the convention. How’s that going to look? She can say, I really wanted Harris but for the good of the Party, I will accept!

Let’s see, previously failed presidential candidate, soon to be 77 year old W/F who “really wants Harris”, is going to bump the potential first B/F presidential nominee in history? After proclaiming support for Harris?

Yeah, that will garner Black support. I reality it might be the nail in the coffin.

But, we’ll see. Politics makes for strange bedfellows.

That last line was a pun intended for Heels Up Kamala? lol

The guy or gal who’s best qualified to lead is WORTHLESS if he can’t get elected. It doesn’t matter how great a candidates ideas are, he/she can’t implement them if they fail to get elected.  Getting elected is the first (and possibly most important) task that every pol has to accomplish, or they suck as a politician.

So by definition, Trump sucks when compared to Biden.

Again, that is a sick way to look at things. I guess a politician could lie about his opponent, bankrupt and jail him/her, and even assassinate the rival, just so that politician gets elected. Do you even read the crap you write?

I shouldn’t be surprised.

You again continued to prove my point.

Trump had the swing vote until the counting was stopped. Of course that doesn’t raise a red flag to cheaters.

He got beat, period.

And people who ignore history are doomed to repeat it.

The truth hurts your feelings.

A politician that can’t get elected is useless in the position they wanted.  The first job is to win the popularity contest  called an election. If you choke on that first step, you can’t do ANYTHING ELSE.  Biden got it done when Trump couldn’t.

Imagine this…. Somebody is hosting a beauty contest, and the Rs support the ugliest woman on earth for this beauty contest. When she loses (of course), all they want to do is complain that the contest was rigged and how great she would have been as the pageant winner.

Then they do it all over again.

That’s dumb.

You hate a man that you think lacks morals, then display to the world your lack of morals. Should we continue laughing at you or have we reached the point of feeling sorry for you?

The only reason trump won in 2016 is that the Dems ran Hillary, who was the most disliked politician in the race.

Trump was the most dislikable candidate in 2020.

Up until yesterday trump wasn’t the most dislikable candidate in the 2024 race.

Those are facts.  All the Dems had to do is nominate someone more likable than trump and they win.

That’s how it works, and it doesn’t matter if you cry into your into your pillow and wish your guy could have been the President again, those are the rules. If you’re too naive to recognize the obvious, I feel bad for you. Life hurts worse when you can’t see what’s coming at you.

Yep, we can now just feel sorry for you. You try so hard to cover up your lack of morals, to the point it is no longer laughable. This is truly one time where the phrase "bless your heart" is applicable.

Lack of morals?  You must be talking about yourself, not me.

Proven rapist, serial cheater, married to a soft core porn star, twice impeached felon? still has your undying loyalty?

You can’t talk about anyone else’s morals when you have none of your own.

You lie so much you can't even keep your story straight. When have I done the things you accuse me of doing?

Again, lack of morals.

Why does the fact that I’m always right make you angry? It should make you change your decision making processes instead.

For you to think you are always right should make the board Hall of Fame for most delusional post ever. It's clear you are now just acting silly and childish to escape the reality that you are lacking in moral standards, while berating a man because you claim he is lacking in moral standards. Thanks for the laugh. And maybe seek help.

I can’t recall another time in history that the counting was halted. Funny how it was the swing states where Trump was winning before and losing after. Doesn’t even raise an eyebrow in a cheater.

Mail in ballots.

There have never been so many, and they had to be opened and counted manually.

You refuse to accept the truth because you don’t like it.

Okay… I’m done busting chops for the time being. My true beliefs are this:

The plan is for Kamala to be nominated. The Ds will trot her out over the next few weeks with plenty of interviews and speeches. If she does really badly, they MIGHT change horses at the convention.

The endorsements she’s received from Ds so far don’t really matter-they’re not a part of the decision making process.  Obama, Pelosi, Schumer, and the mega donors will make the final call within a week or so of the convention. It’s basically a on-the-job interview for Kamala right now.

The Rs are in a bad spot. They don’t seem to have any ammunition with which to fight. “Biden is too old” was a good one, but as of noon yesterday, Trump is the old geezer that’s running for President. The border crisis works well with the base, but a lot of Americans aren’t concerned now that they’ve stopped the flow-like they abound have done years ago.

The “you were lying to America about how bad Biden had gotten” argument is dead on arrival with anybody not wearing a red trucker hat. How can trump attack her moral foibles when his are worse?  “Y’all destroyed the economy” is also a dead issue because the literally turned things around since taking office. Every single American is in a better place than they were when Trump left office…. It’s not even up for debate, and anybody that tries to say we’re worse off now than in 2020 is letting their love of candidate cloud their good judgment. We’ve all got jobs, Wall Street is rocking, and contrary to what the Rs would have us believe, there aren’t any soup kitchens or lines at the grocery giveaways, either.

Those messages work on the faithful, but I don’t know what moves the needle for the voters who think for themselves instead of toeing the party lines.

Does anybody have any reasoned thoughts on how Trump and company can win the votes of the only people whose opinion matters? People like me who don’t toe the line?

You for one.

Can you count how many times the Democrats have called Trump "a threat to democrcay", Hitler, the anti-Christ, etc, etc, etc.? You have really got to be kidding me posing this question. I really hope this was sarcastic. I would hate to know a person that really thought this question was legitimate.

They were not as bad as Trump who was on  X bashing someone.every single day.

They’d better be… she already beat him once, and things have gotten better around here since then. On the other hand, Trump can’t stop getting himself in trouble.

Do you now have a psychology degree to make that assessment? It was funny though.

Stick with this routine. It will generate plenty of laughs. I know I did.
