Property taxes were low….started to go up slowly after Covid and every year after….

This year it really made a jump

What happen to the tax relief from State?

could the county manipulate values to offset the relief?

The State is telling citizens one thing while pressuring the local appraisal districts to get the evaluation numbers up…That’s it in a nutshell…

I’ve owned property in numerous counties in SETX… Tyler County appraisal have been too low for years and are long overdue in being raised to reflect current market prices.
