Bridge City @ Silsbee (Scrimmage) Live Broadcast Tonight (7 PM)

Hello Tiger Nation!!

SeTXSports will attempt a live broadcast tonight on the Silsbee scrimmage against Bridge City (Varsity Only).

Figured why not... doing test run on equipment and setup for regular season.

If you can stand any technical difficulties that might occur tonight and get a basic rundown of the scrimmage activities as they occur then tune in!!!

Wig & Chavo coming at you live, so be nice as we warm up the vocals!!

Silsbee scored 3 TD's

Bridge City scored 1 TD

BC has a pretty good QB and a really good receiver.

Tigers young O-line got flagged for 7 holding penalties. 2 of which nullified TD's.

Silsbee pretty salty on defense. Had two starters not suit up tonight. Walker the NG is a beast!!

Run game is in pretty good hands with Farr and Gaines. Johnson (back up QB) looks really good at WR. I see him getting some snaps at QB during the season or wildcat formation.

Silsbee looked good… pretty athletic as always.

What grade are the 5 OL? They will get better as a unit. Ill be honest i dont care for the iformation for the Tigers. I think they look better in the spread set. It gave the linemen enough time to block.

I believe it's one senior, one junior and three soph. All 5 first time varsity starters.

I agree but Silsbee's passing game out of the I-form. was really good. Good play action. Just can't throw it deep yet out of that formation. Pass protection has to get better.

The play action would be there but you’re right no deep ball. The full back/H back coming out of the back field on passes was nice. Defense overall looked good. I think when district comes around im going to predict Silsbee in 3rd place. HF and WOS might be fighting for number 1.

mayb 1 call was legit, mayb? Least thats what coaches said after grading film. I know of two pancake blocks that were called for holding. These Silsbee Haters see a fat boy laying on top of a defender and they throw a flag

Correction on the OL year.

One senior, one junior and three soph. All 5 first time varsity starters.

Next year will be very bright for those guys. It takes time for the oline to mesh. I think at the end of this season they will be clicking
