The Dem National Convention!

There sure is a massive amount of armed police protecting a convention full of people who believe in defunding them. Hypocrites!!!!! People who don’t believe in putting up walls to protect the American people sure have plenty of metal fencing available to surround their sorry arses. Aren’t they supposed to allow the protesters full access to their facilities…..like an OPEN BORDER? Hypocrites!!!!

I was watching the convention last night and amazed at all of the nutjobs on display. Their dedication to radical social issues is unbelievable.

And we can’t beat them because we embrace hateful behavior.

Trump 2028!!!

Quit living in the past and worrying about what you think should have happened.

We're here, two choices in November, and you know which one is best in the country.

Your continual whining and gnashing of teeth won't change that.

From the article:

Michelle Obama said during her speech on the second night of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago Tuesday that her parents "were suspicious of folks who took more than they needed."

But critics quickly pointed out how she conveniently omitted that the Obamas have an estimated net worth of $70 million, as well as luxury real estate holdings in Chicago, Hawaii, Massachusetts and Washington, D.C.

November is already over… Kamala is in.

The question is whether or not the Rs continue down this road of self-inflicted losses in future election cycles.

Republicans will have held the White House for 4 of the last 20 years. Something we’re doing isn’t working.

They love capitalism for themselves……socialism/communism for us commoners.

We'll see, I think I'll still go vote.

Conservatives  won't be able to present a candidate that the swing voters will elect in the near future.

Can't fix that.

one good thing is that the average democrat has trended back to center these last few years.  even the left is getting tired of the woke, cancel culture antics.  that's good news considering the left is probably going to control just about everything here pretty soon.  the right has all the insults and criticism in the world for the left, but they're not stupid, though.  they've figured out that moderation wins elections, and are adjusting attitudes, candidates, and policy to better attract voters.  maybe republicans will figure that out at some point as well.  everyone on the right is getting bent out of shape because harris has changed her stances on a lot of things.  There's no real surprise that criticism over this strategy is coming from the side who's gone with the "this is what we're doing, deal with it" approach for the last 2 elections, with minimal success.  Trump supporters have been outraged when anyone has suggested he make some changes to increase his odds of being elected.  Now Harris has done just that and they're outraged that she's quickly gaining support.  it's one of the dumber things i've seen in a long line of dumb things that have come out of the right in recent years.

They have figured out that lying about moderation wins elections, there will be no moderate policies pushed if she is elected.

I know that and lots of other folks do to, but there are a lot of folks that at the last minute check the latest punchline from a candidate without having a clue as to their record of years and years.

Harris is no moderate and neither is her sidekick, we'll see that very soon if elected.

Personally, I think a country that the swing voters are happy in will be a very mediocre place to live, and won't be financially sustainable, but, nothing to stop it either.

I agree with most of what you're saying.  knowing what will happen and stopping it from happening are two different things, unfortunately.

Agree, there was a time not long ago that the country wouldn't have even considered a candidate this far to the left, but we're moving more and more that way, don't see anything stopping it other than more of the country begin experiencing problems like we seen in larger cities due to anti-law enforcement, soft on crime, entitlement policies.

It will have to get bad before it gets better imo.

I'll be honest... we haven't had anything financially sustainable in almost 25 years.

1.  Democrats get elected by promising unsustainable giveaways to their voters.

2.  Republicans get elected by promising unsustainable tax cuts to their voters.

There's no difference between the two, other than one benefits the working stiffs/wealthy and the other benefits the sick, lame, lazy, and infirm.  Both are gonna kill us, thought.

Can't argue that, both spend way too much money and not sure how you'll stop it, until is crashes.

Entitlements and being the world policemen are huge revenue streams that folks will do anything to keep in place.

The tax cuts would be unsustainable if they would actually cut spending, but when they have actually tried, they are accused of throwing grandmother over the cliff or taking food out of poor kid's mouths.

she can lie to people s faces with just words and her actions are complete opposite but yet people will believe the lie.  To me that is the most concerning part when thinking of the future.

you're not wrong, but Trump's staunch supporters aren't really any different.
