LCM at PNG scrimmage thread

Wuenchel is gonna be an all state candidate if all goes well. That kid looks to have put on about 20 lbs and he is brutal. The whole Indian LB core is big and very aggressive. They are a bit bigger than last season on the o line and LBs and DL. Chatangier is about 195 now. He looked like a bulldozer out there. Good game LCM best wishes on your season.

If that kid gets his pad level lower he'll never go down. He runs straight up and is still tough to get down

He went down in the 1st half and didn’t return.  Big run, he was bracing for impact about to truck the DB.  The DB made a business decision and moved out of the way.  Chatanier landed on his shoulder.  He didn’t play the rest of the 1st half.  Did he come back in the 2nd?

No - he was done after the first half.

Anymore on Lcm? In theory they shouldn’t even be able to get a yard against a 5a state championship team. What are the goods and bars about the team

The secondary flies around. D-line got pushed around against the PNG 1s, but that’s just good reps for a scrimmage. Pretty fast to the edge by qb and Rb. Qb is a dual threat. Receivers had trouble finding space, but there’s some speed there. Nothing mind blowing, but I thought they looked well-coached and prepared.

So we had a qb battle going. A Jr right handed kid and senior lefty. They've been trading reps

The senior lefty looked to be the better passer for LCM.

PN-G looked bigger across the board versus last years team. Defense doesn't look like it will take a step back at all and that was the biggest concern coming into the season. Connor Bailey was a little off on the deep balls and had one dropped. Running game looks very good as should be expected.

Freshman and JV scrimmages looked like more of the same. Both first team O's ran the ball well.

In an actual game, that might be true. Anything goes in a scrimmage...trying out new players, new positions, younger kids...

He came back in after that play for one or two more then they pulled him for the game. They already know what they have in him. He is ok.

I did like the backup.  Little guy that hits the hole hard.  Real similar look to Ngyuen and great change of pace.
