I will reserve judgement as there are so many unknowns.

Offense will be explosive at times but Smith will want to get that OLine sorted in non-district.  Especially with the Horns coming early.

Defense will be fun to watch and looks to be a positive for Tigers...I feel weird even saying that normally.  The depth at LB can be a real advantage with Farr handling some early running duties.  I look for short yardage there with a possible Freshman potentially making a debut at RB for Tigers.

I'm gonna agree with the 14 poi ts for the win but will be a fun game to call Week 1.

TigerNation!!

One thing I noticed in the second scrimmage is the Oline had a little more energy and spunk. Running down field on long plays, a little more emphasis at point of attack. I think Smith and company will want to give the Oline and RBs a heavy run work load, trying to get their timing down on stretch plays a pulling plays.

Silsbee's D-line, especially the nose, will create a lot of problems for Vidor's Oline which should handcuff Marlow from hurting them too much. It won't be a blow out though. Im expecting a relatively low scoring game especially in wet conditions. Silsbee wins 20-14
