Westbrook Fall League

Who's ever idea this was deserves some major pros it was pretty cool to see all the teams competing and getting ready for the season with some talented teams in the fall. Going to be a good year for basketball in SETX i think.

Correct.

Seastrunk will be transferring to Xavior Academy.

Kind of surprised myself.

1-2 starters play football. I would say about 5-6 more football players will be on varsity basketball team.

Maybe with it being a new thing they did not get in on it in time.

 

I like the league, maybe next year they will get more teams interested if it becomes an annual thing.

Invites were extended to all teams in SETX. I think Silsbee would be missing a key player who is coming from back from injury. But I would’ve love to see Bridge City , Orangefield & Evadale jump in it too.

Correct. Rice will not be cleared for a few more weeks.

HF kid transfering really hurt them i would say from the looks of it last night but it is just Fall leauge wonder how many they have playing football

Kountze beat PAM by 13 last night… I think both teams were missing 1 or 2 guys but a lot of the regulars played from what I was told

HF has about 4-5 playing football, 2 starters.

Kountze moved to 3-0 in this summer league with wins over PNG, BU2, and PAM. I believe they play West Brook next week. Last night was the first night I was able to get over there, and I was impressed. A lot of quality teams playing over there.

I believe you're correct, I know for a fact 2 kids start on Memorial football team (Amir Young and Keavon Roberts)
