Magnolia appears to be a solid 6A team. I wonder if this is similar to PNG playing PA Memorial?

I'm not sure but Lake Creek is one of the top teams out of PNG's district and is expected to make some noise so I'm surprised that they lost in this fashion.

52-13 end of 3 is the biggest surprise. We all know at that point Mag was in sub mode. Mag is new to 6A and just barely in there enrollment wise. Shouldn’t have been a big step up but….Shocked.

This score really surprises me.  It was 49-7 at one point.  Magnolia may be underrated.  New to 6A and the smallest school in their district.  Lake Creek should be strong so I don’t know what happened here.

I scrolled thru the 1 st half on TSBN. Lake Creek ran a no-huddle semi-hurry-up offense and moved the ball for the 1st qtr but fumbled and stalled the first two times they got inside the 20 yl. The fumble was picked up by Magnolia and returned for their first  TD. The score at the end of 1 qtr was 7-7. But by the half, Magnolia offense and defense had found their game, and the score at the half was 35-7 Magnolia.  

LC pass defense wasn't too good in the 2nd qtr, and the defense got spread out a bit. Their O line looks big, especially the rt tackle. The one extra point that I saw, they spread guys way out wide like they're going for 2, then end up kicking the xtra point, just like they did last season in the playoff game against PNG.

I think LC has plenty coming back.  14 starters and most of their skill kids.  The QB and the bowling ball RB are D1 commits and are two of the best in the District.
