This is one of the better games our area has going this weekend in my opinion.  I'm curious to see how it goes for the horns.  Hitchcock is a serious test, and the game is at Hitchcock.  Who do you have winning?  Why?

Give me Hitchcock by 4 because it's at Hitchcock.

I see this as a high scoring game. Both in the 30's.

Hitchcock lost by 1 point last week to Legacy School of Sports Sciences.  it's real hard to get a read on that team.  they're a private school who's unaffiliated with a district.  they went 8-1 last year, but didn't do anything overwhelming.  beat a bunch of local teams.  most impressive win was a 4-point win over jasper.  but only beat LCM by 1, and lcm was a .500 team last year, and beat livingston 42-28, and livingston was pretty terrible.  lost a game 52-7 to episcopal, who's only loss came to a team LSSS beat.  I just don't have a really good gauge on how good of a team they are.  I know they're pretty good, but is this a reasonable loss for Hitchcock?  Did they play bad?  Are they down this year?  I don't know.

LSSS threw for 275 and rushed for 80. HC 202 Passing and 249 rushing based on the hudl recap vid I found.

Hitchcock lost the game because of a goaline turnover that cost them 7 points and overall bad special teams play that put LSSS on some short fields. LSSS had a lot more depth than HC, especially on the defensive front where they were able to rotate their front to stay fresh.

HC QB Chubby Jones is the real deal though. If you have never seen him live you are in a for a real treat. His ability to keep plays alive with his legs is pretty incredible as he was able to make a very good front 7 from legacy look just OK. I cant imagine that HF front 7 will be as good as what LSSS put out there. But this will be my first time to see the Longhorns play in person. Should be a fun game. The last 2 State 7on7 Champs in Division 2 going at it at Bulldog stadium. I hope the rain holds off!

sounds like two excellent QBs will be going at it.  HF will certainly have a depth advantage.  I was confused about the stats from that game because the box score said about what you did, but then the stats at the end of the video recap said something else.  I did notice from the highlights a lot of space in the secondary for LSSS receivers.  If that's the case this Friday then HF is going to sling the ball around on them.
