LUFAN Posted December 23, 2007 Report Posted December 23, 2007 Tech doesn't show up to this game, Lamar has tough 2nd half again but pulls it out by 5. This is the turning point of our season. Bobby Knight has a nervous break down and throws another chair lol.
jake94 Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 Tech by 20. How many road wins do we have?
Guest abovetherim Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 After watching the game last night, I thought today about how we let a 20 pt lead get down to 7. This has happened in at least 4 games this season. Just my opinion here, I think Coach Roc was playing the second half not to lose instead of playing to win. The game had a faster pace in the first half and "we" slowed down the game and went into a half-court game. This isn't the strength of this team. I think Coach Roc needs to review the game film and re-think our strenths vs weakness.I'm still on the Coach Roc bandwagon but I can see how some people are starting to have questions. Now, prediction for Lamar versus TT, Lamar wins in a major upset by 4. Going with my heart here.
Guest mffl Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 I hope they pull off the win... i'll be at the game to cheer Lamar on!

RonBurgundy68 Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 If my Kats can pull it off, so can Big Red! Good luck Cards!
Guest abovetherim Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 If my Kats can pull it off, so can Big Red! Good luck Cards! Thanks, you're a cool Kat!
STiger85 Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 This looks like a good game to be on TV. You got Texas Tech, Bobby Night, maybe snow, Lamar betting the day lights out of Night. Now, when is this game. Oh, this WOULD have been a good game on TV. I'd watch it, even on New Year's Day.
Guest coachacola Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 They moved this game to 6pm due to Tech playing a bowl game earlier that day. Not sure if that helps or hurts LU. But Tech is 6-5 on the season with all 6 wins at home and all 5 losses on the road. They just lost a very good and top 25 team Standford by 1. If LU can stay within 10 points I'll be happy.
KFDM COOP Posted December 24, 2007 Author Report Posted December 24, 2007 Mffl what is your prediction?
Gtj007 Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 The Stanford game was in Dallas and two of their wins were in Alaska!!!
Guest mffl Posted December 24, 2007 Report Posted December 24, 2007 Oh didn't know that thanks for the correction.I'm thinking....LU 61Texas Tech 54The defense will play as hard as they have all season, the offense will struggle, but still have one of there best performances thanks to their strong D.
weslinder Posted December 26, 2007 Report Posted December 26, 2007 This is certainly a winnable game. Texas Tech is not a good team this year. It's nice to catch them when they're down, and it would be really nice to beat them while they're down.
UNLV Posted December 26, 2007 Report Posted December 26, 2007 If the game was in Beaumont, I would predict LU wins by 7. Since it is in Lubbock, then Tech by 15.

It's nice to catch them when they're down, and it would be really nice to beat them while they're down.I'll have to disagree with you on that. They're a good team, just not a great team. They beat Gonzaga and almost beat Stanford, a top 25 team, but also lost to Centenary. Maybe Lamar can finally put it all together and play 40 minutes of great basketball and win.
KFDM COOP Posted December 26, 2007 Author Report Posted December 26, 2007 This would be huge if LU can get the win there!
KFDM COOP Posted December 27, 2007 Author Report Posted December 27, 2007 Like Lamar, Tech has improved a lot. Yes they have, will be tough to win there!
bullets13 Posted December 27, 2007 Report Posted December 27, 2007 Unless the Lamar team that everyone was expecting in the preseason polls shows up, i say tech by 30 points. If Lamar can somehow wake up and play MUCH better than any game they've played all season, i say they lose by less than 10.
BLUEDOVE3 Posted December 27, 2007 Report Posted December 27, 2007 If Al Barbe was coaching Lamar, then I would predict a win for LU. Otherwise, I have to be realistic and say Tech wins. ;D
